Women's Retreat/ Workshop: "Becoming A Better You."

"Becoming A Better You" is a workshop series provided by the Women's Retreat Collaborative (WRC) for women's ministries in churches. This event can be brought to your women's group in the form of an overnight retreat or as a one day experience.

The WRC workshops ask several questions. Who are you? What are you all about? Are you thinking about making changes in your life? As a woman, you may feel defined by your family, job or home, but who are you? Come experience what God has in store for YOU, not only for today, but also tomorrow. Join other women within your church for an insightful retreat and/or workshop day filled with fun, fellowship and interactive self-discovery exercises that encourage "becoming a better you."

What do past attendees have to say about the WRC workshops?

"The Becoming a Better You" Retreat helps you evaluate the stage of life you're in, to acknowledge it and not be afraid to move outside your box, stretch yourself and grow."

"The focus of the retreat appealed to women of all ages. Having women of differing ages in each session brought out multiple and unique perspectives."

"The workshops were well done. All of the workshops focused on 'Who am I and why do I exist?' yet each one examined that question from a different perspective."

What is the Women's Retreat Collaborative?

The WRC consists of five professionals.
  • Four workshop leaders: (1 professional coach, 1 career counselor, 1 social worker and 1 yoga instructor) and
